Dogecoin launched in December 2013 as a friendly, meme-inspired cryptocurrency and grew into one of the most widely held coins in the world. It uses Scrypt proof-of-work with a one-minute block time and has been merge-mined with Litecoin (AuxPoW) since 2014, so scrypt miners secure both networks at once. Unlike Bitcoin, Dogecoin has no fixed supply cap. ccnodes serves Dogecoin from its own full node with a complete address index.
Query Dogecoin programmatically with the ccnodes API: /explorer/v1/dogecoin/blocks, /tx/<id>, /address/<addr>.
