Ycash is a friendly fork of Zcash, created in July 2019 at Zcash block 570,000, so it carries the whole of Zcash's history up to that point and shares its genesis block. It uses Equihash proof-of-work, retargets difficulty every block, and targets a 75-second block time since the Blossom upgrade. Like Zcash it supports both transparent addresses and shielded Sprout and Sapling pools: pool balances are public, while the notes inside them are encrypted and cannot be read from the chain. ccnodes serves Ycash from its own full node, whose built-in insight index supplies transparent address data.
Query Ycash programmatically with the ccnodes API: /explorer/v1/ycash/blocks, /tx/<id>, /address/<addr>.
