What's a compute unit? One unit of server work, not one request — so you're charged for what you actually cost us. A cached block or transaction read is 3 CU; a full address-index lookup is 20–30 CU; a complete balance history walk is 50 CU. Cheap calls stay cheap.

Free while in preview. Metering isn't switched on yet: every account has unlimited compute units today, and no payment is required or accepted. GET /v1/pricing reports enforced: false until that changes, and we'll announce it before it does.

When metering starts, the plans above apply. Spend a month's allowance and you top up with prepaid credit that doesn't expire, paid in crypto (USDC, ETH, BNB and other assets on Ethereum, Base or BSC).
